FUNDAMENTALS. Repetition of the fundamental skills leads to greater levels of confidence and, ultimately, mastery of the game.

About the Coach

Coach CT is an award-winning youth sports coach with over fifteen years of experience. He has worked with both girls and boys from the ages of 4 to 18 in baseball, softball, soccer, and basketball. In the ‘22 and ‘23 seasons, he took on a coaching role at Chief Sealth High School with their Junior Varsity Fastpitch team. This year (‘24) CT has taken on the position of Head JV Baseball Coach at Highline High School.

Coach CT plays baseball in the PSSBL, is an avid sports fan and invests much of his spare time cheering his own children on from the sidelines (he is admittedly not very good at simply spectating - much to their dismay). He lives in Burien, WA with his wife, their three children, and their poodle Maui.

A Note From Coach CT …

My life as a coach really took off when my oldest daughter Maia (now seventeen) started playing sports in kindergarten and I haven’t looked back since. I coached Maia and her friends from kindergarten through 6th grade in soccer, basketball, and softball. When my daughter Ella (now thirteen) was in second grade I began coaching her softball team. We added basketball coach and baseball coach in third and fourth grade. She switched to baseball sometime ago and doesn’t seem interested in turning back to softball, though my days of coaching her teams have passed. My son Hudson is only six years old but already loves sports (though his favorite is hockey which is not my specialty), so I am certain that my days of coaching my kids are far from over.

Throughout my coaching career, I have worked with both girls and boys from the ages of four to eighteen in baseball, softball, soccer, and basketball. In 2017 I received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the St. Bernadette Athletic Association for my many years of volunteer service as coach of all trades.

I am a fan of all sports, but my passion lies in baseball. I still play baseball myself in the PSSBL and pride myself on rarely missing a game and leading the league in steals.
